The Quattro Amici and Portale Restaurants are situated in a superb position and also offer an extensive menu. They can in fact be found in the centre of Florence, near the railway station and the Church of Santa Maria Novella, and only a few minutes walk away from the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio. This area also hosts some of the best 4 star hotels in Florence, accommodating large tourist groups, convention delegates and business dinners. This is why the restaurants are always open and can welcome groups for lunch and dinner at any time. Although they have separate entrances, they are linked together internally and can thus satisfy all kinds of requests. The Portale, with menus based on the typical Tuscan cuisine, also boasts a pizzeria, while the Quattro Amici restaurant offers more sophisticated Tuscan dishes that include meat and fish specialities suitable for congress or incentive dinners. The Four Friends restaurant can seat 100, with a private room for 10, while the Portale can seat 50.
