Good food and elegance can be found at Lungarno Bistrot restaurant, situated alongside the Arno in pretty Piazza Scarlatti, only a short way away from the Ponte Vecchio and Via Tornabuoni, and 3 minutes from Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Museum. Overlooking the River Arno and right opposite Palazzo Corsini, it offers a large and airy environment characterised by the play of light created by the reflections and lighting on the ceiling and the plants decorating the walls. The parquet flooring and the creamy coloured chairs and tablecloths add to the warm atmosphere. The large open kitchen is the focal point in the Lungarno Bistrot; here you can see the chefs at work preparing the various dishes on the menu, from fresh pasta to desserts and home baked bread. The food is so beautifully presented that the various platters seem to be real works of art and include delicacies from the Tuscan and Italian cuisine, meat and fish dishes, as well as ideas taken from various regions in Italy.
