Locanda di Pietracupa
The Locanda di Pietracupa is a known reference point for gourmets in the midst of the Chianti Classico area; while restaurant is also highly experienced in catering for tourist groups of quality as well as congress and “incentive” groups.
This restaurant, lying right in the middle of the Chianti countryside between Florence and Siena and conveniently near the San Donato exit from the “Florence-Siena” highway, which is only a few minutes away, also has a coach and car park situated right in front of it; it is an excellent place to dine, whether for lunch, during trips to the excellent wine producing farms nearby, where tastings can also be organised, or for dinner, on the return journey to Florence from Siena.
The refined and elegant atmosphere of the restaurant also includes a delightful glazed veranda overlooking the surrounding countryside that can seat about 50 people. The charming internal room can seat another 50 people and gives onto another garden that can seat 60. It takes about 20 minutes to reach it from Florence and 25 from Siena.
Massimiliano and Luca, together with Monica and Franca, propose a restyled Tuscan cuisine that is attentive to detail and the flavours of the territory, while great care is taken to choose the finest and freshest products of the season.
The restaurant also has 4 bedrooms available in its pleasant “Bed & Breakfast” on the first floor. Customised cooking courses that conclude with tasting the results can also be organized.
