The Benedicta restaurant lies only a short way away from Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo dei Congressi and the Fortezza da Basso and just 4 minutes from the Cathedral of Florence. Luciano Ioppoli is one of the most experienced caterers in Florence and has enthusiastically run a great many restaurants over the years; he is now assisted by his two sons: Francesco is also an AIS sommelier, while Filippo Baldi, is an up-and-coming young chef who has carefully studied every single dish to ensure its finest flavour.
The added merits of the Restaurant: the Benedicta’s elegant environment offers a modern interpretation for the interior of an old building constructed with the typical Florentine cross vaults. The Restaurant is composed of two suggestive dining rooms and can comfortably hold up to 120 people, something that is quite rare in the centre of Florence. There are also two other connecting dining rooms for private dinners, one that can seat 45 people and the other 35. The interior of the Benedicta also boasts two beautiful gardens that can be laid up for dinner and lunch (on prior reservation) and can hold up to 70 pax. A verdant and peaceful corner for enjoying good food right in the city centre. The Benedicta has its own separate entrance, but is also directly connected to 4 star Hotel Rivoli for those desirous of finding somewhere for the group to stay.
